The Newell’s First Martin’s Dairy Trail Run

On this particularly beautiful Fall day, Jen, my wife, and I hosted a non-competitive anything goes trail run. The overall mantra was to run until you wanted to drink beer, and that is exactly what we did.

Post run beer. The goal: Run til you want to drink beer.

Sitting down. Relaxing after a solid trail run. Beer in hand, of course.

About ten adults ran and traded off parenting duties for keeping some eyes on the large herd of children running around and playing at the Preserve. In total, we ran just about 70 miles with the longest at just under 14 miles and the shortest at just under 4 miles. The event was a total success, and tailgating in the parking area after running was a great way to lead up to lunchtime when everyone parted ways for some grub and the rest of their Sunday goings-on.

Thanks everyone. We will definitely do this again.
